Ok, so we’re going to go back and visit Appeasement Theology, because it keeps popping up.  I was talking with a group of teens the other day about the exclusive claim of Jesus -that He was and is the only way to get into heaven, and it was received with mixed emotions.  Mainly that it [...]

After reading a book on church discipline where the author suggested that there were certain sins that were considered insufferable, I began wondering if this was true.  Are there certain sins that if committed can disqualify someone from church leadership or membership indefinitely?  More accurately stated – forever?
I know that there are certain qualifications for [...]

In a conversation with someone regarding their Appeasement Theology, they made a comment about how Jesus was god to the Christian, just as Vishnu was god to the Hindu, just as Allah was god to the Muslim.  The man claimed that we were all worshipping the same thing – god.
It was interesting to me his choice of Vishnu in comparison to Jesus.  [...]

Appeasement theology is not heresy, but rather apostate.  It denies the deity of Christ.
In a conversation with someone recently regarding their apostate views that I’ve deemed Appeasement Theology, they made the following comment:

I’m sure that this post will offend a lot of folks who subscribe to this way of [...]

We are saved by faith alone. It is our belief in Jesus Christ that saves us. We are saved the moment we believe.
However, what does it mean to believe on Jesus?
If I believe Jesus was the propitiation for my sins. That through His death, I can have life. How could I not love Him?
And Jesus [...]

Once Saved?

I don’t want to start a debate here, because I currently sit on both sides of the fence. There has been an ongoing debate about “Once Saved, Always Saved.”
The question is: “Can one lose their eternal salvation, or once they come to faith in Christ are they guaranteed to enter into heaven?
I would have to [...]

Q. What is the Gospel of the Kingdom?
A. The Gospel is the Good News that God’s Kingdom has come to earth. Jesus said, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Someone put it this way, “Change the way you think, for God’s Kingdom is right in front of your face, and you can’t [...]
